Wild Rivers - Bruce Kekule

Bruce Kekule’s Wild Rivers was, and still is, a landmark in wildlife books for Thailand. Published in 2008 it is still unsurpassed and sets the standard by which all other wildlife books on Thailand are judged both in content and quality. 

This is no ordinary collection of photographs in a book format, this a book in its own right. The author/photographer has used his unmatched years of experience in Thailand’s protected areas as well as his immense talent as a professional photographer to create a must own tome for anyone interested in Thailand and her natural heritage.

Wild Range

 Baramee TemboonkiatWhen Khun Baramee announced that he would produce a book of his photographic works, everyone sat up and took notice. I was so enthused at seeing a collection of Baramee’s beautiful photographs with his personal curation and touch that, like hundreds of others, I paid for a copy months in advance of the publication.

Perhaps Thailand’s most recognizable and affable wildlife photographer, he has a dedicated following. A following he richly deserves, for a myriad of reasons as well as dedication.

Once in a while a book comes along that takes you by complete surprise, literally stops you in your tracks and takes over your life until you have completed its reading. Its tale then haunts your mind for days as you re-live its passages and reassess its meaning to yourself on a personal level. Such books are rare and normally crafted around fictional scenarios. Well that all just changed for me – the book in my hand was non-fictional and it was exploring the author’s personal experiences in a conservation David versus Goliath epic.
