A Greater Racket-tailed Drongo (Dicrurus paradiseus) feeding off Gerridae water skippers at the Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary. The picture is a sequence of shots superimposed on top of each other, showing the same bird in

the action of taking the gerridae and then returning to its perch (out of sight). I watched the sequence unfold 4 times in a row with about 2 minute gaps. Unfortunately my other attempts were not in focus as I was using a wide open aperture to get a shutter speed of 1/2500, and the consequent depth of field was minimal. The camera used was shooting at only 4 frames per second, a slow camera by comparision to some of the offerings of Canon and Nikon. Nikon d800e and Nikkor 80-400, handheld!

Is it time for a new picture of the month, yet?
Then I would say we've got a winner!
