Recent video of evidence from the DNP and DSI of the continuation of forest encroachment in the Kaeng Krachan National Park.
At least this kind of thing is being openly shared with the people, so that they are aware of their heritage being stolen. Lets hope the force of the regime is brought to bare on the responsible parties - both labour and funders.

Let's hope Thailand learns to understand the value of their natural heritage soon.
It's a tough battle, I guess. The instant money is more tempting than the long-term value it has.
I was wondering if it would at all be possible to start projects to buy land on the borders of the parks and create private-owned reserves.
Something that is quite common practise in Africa. If done well, it could boost the eco tourism and add Thailand to the list of the world's wildlife watching destinations.
Sadly I do not have the money, haha. Would love to buy land, turning it back to nature to create corridors between fragmented wildlife habitat, or just extend the parks. I had a short talk with some people who ran one of those private owned game reserves in South-Africa. From what I understood the government helped funding these projects.
Though, I'm afraid the Thai government might not feel the need...
It would create a sort of buffer zone which might be better protected and make it harder for encroachers and poachers to get into the parks.
