× Over 400 species of birds are known to occur within the Park’s boundaries, and 57 mammals. Larger mammals include elephant, gaur, sambar deer, banteng, serow, and bear, indo-chinese tiger, leopard, both common and Fea’s muntjac. Malayan tapir, white-handed gibbon, dusky and banded langurs, Asian wild dog, otter, and wild boar.

Those who know me, know by now that I do not normally disclose the location of my photos beyond which park they were taken in. But with this one I am going to make an exception as its an interesting location.

Rushen knows where it is because he was there when we were taking out the cameras. This photo was taken just 20+ meters from the birders water hole in KK at KM 17! To be honest there was not as much as we were hoping for, with the presence of water in the area (Feb), maybe its because of the disturbance.

So always remember to look over your shoulder :+)
