Hi there,

I was wondering if any contributors to this site were familiar with and could recommend any community grass-roots conservation programs or organisations that readily accept volunteers? I have a background in ecology and habitat resotoration and a love of Thailand, my aim is to combine these on an extended holiday. I can help with wildlife surveys, develop monitoring programs, contribute to education programs, revegetation and organise the donation of reference books and second hand binoculars. If anyone has any advice, it would be much appreciated.

I would recommend directly contacting those orgs/foundations/associations that operate in Thailand in the areas you are looking for - with your background "(background in ecology and habitat resotoration)" I am sure they would be interested in discussing with you.

Thanks trekker. Are there any organisations you would recommend over others from your experience in Thailand?
