Closed National Parks COVID 2021 was created by INFO
The Environment Minister has stated that parks closures going forward, due to COVID, are not being currently considered .....

Natural Resources and Environment Minister Varawut Silpa-archa on Monday ordered national parks nationwide to cut visitors by 40-50 per cent as part of Covid-19 control measures. The move follows news that a recent visitor to Phu Tub Boek mountain in Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park, Petchabun, later tested positive for Covid-19.National parks could remain open, said Varawut, but their committees must implement containment measures in line with the severity of the outbreak in their area."We have instructed national park chiefs to follow guidance from provincial governors on disinfecting areas such as toilets and crowded places," he said. "We also instructed them to ask people for cooperation on social distancing." Source

But everyone is advised to check before setting off as a number of National Parks did officially close, until further notice, yesterday including Kun Nan National Park, Tap Lan National Park, Khao Laem National Park, and Thong Pha Phum National Park. More may follow as/if the situation develops.

I've found that most of the medium-big (in terms of popularity) parks have their own facebook page maintained by the DNP so I will usually have a look on it and use the Google translate function to find out about any closures or restrictions or other news within the park, not just related to covid.  It can save a wasted journey and in some cases you will learn about attractions you would not otherwise know about.

e.g. in rainy season the Khao Yai facebook page is useful to check about road closures from landslides, they update it in almost real time.

speaking of slides, i was a bit shocked to see how many had happened on the Pak Chong side into the park.  There were at least 7 significant slides and it appeared to be more potentially on the way with some of them looking to completely destroy the road

From what little i know, they seem to be looking at millions of dollars to stabilize that mountain coming into next rain season or risk total road failure
