Sad Passing of Bruce Kekule was created by WT admin
Probably the proverbial grandfather of all aspiring wildlife photographers in Thailand, Bruce Kekule, has passed away after a lengthy illness.

A man who wore his heart on his sleeve, he was a pioneer in wildlife photography in Thailand. His books educated many, as well as his writings for the Bangkok Post. He was eccentric, in a nice way, but it was that eccentric drive that made him achieve so much and become the prominent expatriate figure in Thai wildlife awareness for many . He championed wildlife photo book production, publishing 3 major wildlife photo books, as well as being the pioneer of camera traps in Thailand and many aspiring photographers both learned from him and attempted to mimic his drive and success.

Lay peacefully in the big forest in the sky Ajarn.

On behalf of all on the forum we offer our deepest sympathies to Pee Noi.
