I too was surprised to not see the best shots of Jonny Armstrong. Wonder if he did not enter these, or the judges just have a different taste than me.
The following picture on flickr is to me one of his best shots, and one of the best camera trap shots I have ever seen. It might 'just' be a Red Fox, but everything is great; the light on the animal, the ambient light, the amazing scenery in the background, the look of the fox, the color combinations.
