Phu Khieo restrictions was created by WT admin

Any one planning to visit and stay at Phu Khieo is advised to call ahead as there is currently a temporary halt on camping and overnight accomodation in the sanctuary without prior permission.

One day entry continues as normal.

One assumes this is linked to the recent situation in Thung Yai Sanctuary.

No National Parks are affected, Phu Khieo is a Sanctuary, not an NP.

I know - I was just about to head down for my first visit to Hala Bala Sanctuary, theres no way I am going to risk that length of journey now with the possibility of more restrictions than existed previously.
