Mae Wong National Park. This is in the river about 500 Meters up from the headquarters, bird arrives punctually at 6.00AM so you have to be there really early in order to get your hide etc set up before it comes downstream. Alternatively you can set you hide up the night before but check it before you get in!

I was there again last week but now there is no sign of the bird but I did get this picture of a Rufous Throated Partridge

Shot this one in October.... 500M after the Headquarters. Bird arrives very early, 6 AM, and only passes once. You need to get there well before the bird as it will not stop if is senses anything wrong. Other people have seen it later.

I was there last week however, there was no sign of it.

Heres another one I got, Rufous Throated Partridge

With help from Geoff I managed to get a few photos of the Oriental dwarf kingfishers (Ceyx erishaca) in Kaeng Krachan.
