My catch of the weekend - a tiny (by my standards :whistle: ) buff-rumped woodpecker (Meiglyptes grammithorax) in Kaeng Krachan National Park. It stopped for just 10 seconds or so but a pity it was not willing to show its full profile and turn sideways.

This was with the 600 VR and a D800. Its 1/60th, f6.3 and ISO 800.

Great picture. Woodpeckers like this are rarely photographed at eye level, normally there are shots peering upwards into the branches. This is a rare one too.
