I would like some help to ID this pair of tiny birds, that every night sleeps in one of our chilis.
They arrive after sunset, and sits on the same branch every night. We can walk right past them, without them moving a feather.
The chilis are 20 mm. long so the birds are very small.
Think I still stick to my first impression, Common Tailorbird
But you could have a look at the following list.
Other contenders with similar coloration:
* Dark-necked Tailorbird, but since it has the light 'eyebrow' (supercilium) it's more likely the Common T.
* Chestnut-crowned Warbler, but I believe this bird has a shorter bill and overall a different shape
* Rufous-fronted babbler, but should have a bit a striped throat
* Triped Tit Babbler, but again should have a bit a striped throat
