Chorotypus sp. grasshoppers

An interesting spot at Pang Sida National Park at the weekend, by Ian Edwardes. Two Chorotypus sp. short horned grasshoppers, Chorotypus are commonly referred to as leaf mimics and some of the species are amazing mimics of dead leaves, much more so than these two.

This was a first time seeing these for me, the pair were about 20 meters apart.:

Great shots!
And good to know the genus.
I've seen some in the past but had no idea what they were. I have one image on Flickr. Not the same species, but clearly related.
