It was a crazy week with elephant sightings in Khao Yai. Maybe I've seen your car while a bunch of pachyderms walked just meters away from it. At least if you parked at Wang Jumpi on Saturday 29th, 10:00 - 11:00 AM if I remember correctly...
You're lucky you didn't get surrounded, or returned to a crushed car ;)...

Can't help you with Id's, but the shots are nice to look at.

That would have been me - it was there all day (7:00 till 3:00). Its an aging black battered Vigo, instantly recognizable as a partially brown Vigo as the last time it was washed was about a year ago ;+)

The elephants came through twice but on the second pass I did not hear or see them (was told when I came out).

On the moths above I have been doing some searching but not got too far yet, so far:

#3 - Zygaenidae family - ??????
#4 - Zygaenidae family - ??????
#5 - Geometridae family - Corymica sp. (similar to Corymica arnearia)
#6 - Uraniidae family - Epipleminae - Dysaethria cretacea
#7 - Uraniidae family - Epipleminae - Dysaethria cretacea
#8 - Notodontidae family - ??????

Assassin Bug is Rhynocoris sp.

#8 is Limacodidae, not Notodontidae. I suspect it is a Thosea species, but am not certain.

Apart from that, you have got as far as I did!!

Got an id (partial), at last, for Moth #5. Corymica spatiosa (Geometridae - Ennominae), or a VERY closely related species. Definitely that Genus.
