This is an endangered Elongated tortoise (Indotestudo elongata) in Thap Lan National Park. Its interesting in that it shows the tortoise eating the scat of a wild cat, and also that tortoises are vectors for ticks as it has two hitching a ride on the shell.

I was sat having a bowl of noodles and scratching my leg at the weekend and felt something hard under my finger tip - this beasty was crawling up my leg. Luckily it was still on the outside of my trousers. Kaeng Krachan.

I really hate them, I itch for weeks if I get bitten.

Long time since I saw a tortoise - the weekend at Kaeng Krachan. I presume same species but not 100% sure

Wow that's amazing. It's the same size as a pick-up truck!

Last week came across this big fella near Ban Krang in Kaeng Krachan. I guess it's a Asian forest tortoise (Manouria emys) but I'm no expert on reptiles.

Another Elongated tortoise (Thap Lan NP) doing what they like to do best, eating Kotoran Luwak a highly expensive dietary supplement only obtained from civets.
