× The park is the third largest in Thailand. It covers an area of 300 square kilometers, including tropical seasonal forests and grasslands. Its altitude mostly ranges from 400–1,000 m above sea level. There are 3,000 species of plants, 320 species of birds, and 67 species of mammals, recording in this, Thailand's most famous National Park.

we would like to ask all our viewers to help us with elephant pictures from khaoyai national park.

we and the national park staff are working on an elephant catalogue, identifying each individual elephant in pictures.

we started with bulls and have so far separated more than 70 bulls and counting. this catalogue is for non commercial

use only! every picture should state the date taken and the location. please send the pictures to khaoyainews[AT]gmail.com
