A video camera for the forest? was created by Paul T
When I read about the RED "smartphone" I thought ..... "urrrggh who would want that". But the first sneak peak on the internet (vdo below) makes you realize that this is something much much more and potentially a video camera that would be very easy to carry in a pack (see 5.04 mins in).

P.S. for those not aware RED video quality is exceptional (albeit expensive as of yet)
